Stalosan F disinfectant launched in Vietnam

Veterinary solutions company SANPHAR recently introduced Stalosan F, a broad-spectrum disinfectant produced by Danish agricultural firm Vitfoss, to the Vietnamese market.

Stalosan F considerably reduces infection pressure in the animals’ immediate environment, and offers a high level of acid minerals that improve the environment, decompose harmful substances and enhance the animals’ resistance.

Distributor SANPHAR Vietnam adds the value of Stalosan’s biosecurity to its existing diagnostic services.

From Nong Lam University in Ho Chi Minh City, SANPHAR operates a state-of-the-art microbiological centre that focuses on epidemiological research and infectious disease diagnostics in livestock.

As a part of its service offerings to Vietnamese farmers, SANPHAR detects the main causes of a farm’s animal health problem and proposes a suitable treatment and prevention programme in order to support productive herd health condition.

“SANPHAR is taking an important step in reinforcing its presence in animal health markets in Asia, beyond its roots in Brazil and Latin America,” says Ricardo Gomes Pereira, managing director of SANPHAR.

The Vietnamese Department of Animal   Health, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, authorisedStalosan F for sale in January 2017.

“This approval in Vietnam shows our commitment to offer the Danish animal health solution to Asian customers,” Lars Ole Madsen, head of Stalosan Sales at Vitfoss, says.

Stalosan improves biosecurity level in the farm. It has been shown to reduce the mortality of piglets, reduce the need and expense for medication, eliminate the negative effects of ammonia, and improve livestock performance against a variety of pathogens like PEDv.
