Appimilk is a new nutritional supplement for lactating sows, developed by the R&D department at Vilofoss.

The production of milk generates high nutritional needs which are not always compensated by a sufficient intake of food in maternity. Appimilk compensates for the nutritional deficits of the suckling sow by providing nutrients. Appimilk maximizes milk production of all categories of sows – and thereby litter growth – and limits the negative second-parity syndrome.

Appimilk comes in the form of mini-pellets for top-feeding on sow feed.

A new Vilofoss concept for supplementing minerals for cows in preparation for calving and future lactation: Milkiboost

Milkiboost is presented as a bolus, but also can be added as an ingredient in a mineral. Having a fully natural composition, Milkiboost has an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect which reduces the emergence and severity of mastitis. Furthermore, the cell count decreases, the milk production increases at the beginning of lactation and milk persistence is improved.

Avifirst – new poultry range at Vilofoss

Avifirst is based on Vilofoss’ know-how about starter feed.
