The early days of a calf’s life and the weaning period are the key to a good growth rate of a calf and the future productivity of the dairy cow. A lot of scientific studies show the influence of the health status and welfare of young animals on the animals’ life-time performance. Why is rehydration/diarrhoea a problem?
- Diarrhoea and digestive problems are the cause of 56% mortality in calves.
- Diarrhoea is the main cause of calf death.
- 26% of calves have diarrhoea within the first 3 months.
Consequences of diarrhoea
- Dehydration
- Metabolic acidosis (low pH in body)
- In pain - depression - weakening
- Calves can be acidotic without dehydration

WHAT´S THE USE OF ELECTROLYTES?
Sodium, potassium and chlorine are some of the most important components for stabilising the osmotic pressure inside the cells and regulating the body-water balance.
These minerals are also found in the acid-base balance of the animals.
Both products are optimised according to the latest recommendations for rehydration products. Dialyt Express is a ready-to-use solution that can be added to milk as the mixture is buffered with sodium acetate. Dialyt is a powder product and must be mixed with water before use and must be used in water.
This makes Dialyt Express the easiest solution available.

DIALYT - 8 kg / 15 kg
Dietary feed which stabilises the fluid and electrolyte balance, supporting the animals' physiological digestion.
The product contains the electrolytes sodium, chlorine and potassium, which are the main electrolytes for balancing fluid levels and correcting the animals' metabolic acidosis.
Dialyt should not be fed until at least 30 minutes after milk administration.
It is a tasty white powder intended for stirring into water (preferably 40-50 °C), as hot water facilitates mixing.

DIALYT EXPRESS - 5 l / 15 l / 200 l
Dialyt Express is a rehydration mixture consisting of electrolytes, easily digestible energy and plant extracts. The product is mixed into milk or water.
The use of Dialyt Express has been made as easy as possible.
- It is a ready-to-use mixture that does not require prior handling or mixing. This way Dialyt Express can be placed where the product is to be used - at the calves or, if preferred, on the milk taxi.
- Dialyt Express can be added directly to the milk. Milk feeding and administration of Dialyt Express can thus be handled in a single process.
- Ease of use helps ensure swift intervention. And swift intervention is crucial for stabilising the gastrointestinal system.

E-Force
Vitamin E supplementation to calf diets is known to improve the immune response and health status of the animal which improves growth performance. Calves with a low plasma E level are therefore more susceptible to infections . Especially around weaning the uptake of vitamin E is overall low, probably due to a low bioavailability of commercial vitamin E.
The E-Force product contain the most bioavailable vitamin E form processed to improve protection and absorption.

RoCoSal E
5 kg / 15 kg - Concentrate for calves.
After having fed on colostrum , the calves should have obtained material immunity. However, the effectiveness of the defense will gradually deteriorate. It takes several weeks for the calf's defense against infection is reestablished.
RoCoSal E is multitasking concentrate with electrolytes and a special egg powder, which contains a high level of immunoglobulins (natural antigen-antibobody complex) to increase immunity in breeding or fattening calves.
Consequently, the calves' deficit of electrolytes and immune defense- caused by diseases or environmental stress-is easily restored.
Fibermax
15 kg-Supplement feed.
A high-fibre feed supplement with a stabilising effect on the intestines of weaned calves in the entire milk feeding period. The product has a high natural content of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Furthermore, the product also contains added citric acid,which has an antibacterial effect in the intestines.
If you feed a lot of milk,in particular,Fibermax helps stabilise the gastrointestinal system, which is an essential prerequisite for producing strong and healthy calves.
VitCox
1 l /5 l -Supplement feed.
Liquid mixture of effective plant extracts,such as garlic, mint, liquorice and thyme, having a positive effect on the intestinal epithelium, among other things.
Farm trials have shown a reduced level of oocytes.

RespoSan
4 kg / 12 kg - Herbal extracts for the stabilisation of the respiration.
Combines vitamins, electrolytes, and herbal extracts.
RespoSan contains essential oils and extracts of popular and, especially for this purpose, cultivated herbs. They thrive under the best climatic conditions which have been used for centuries of cultivation of spice, medicinal and aromatic plants.
The production of the active substances is a special, gentle distilling process.
RespoSan is based on essential oils from cinnamon, eucalyptus and peppermint.
RespoSan provides a fast energy source for stressed calves. It can be added to feed as a powder or stirred into the calf´s milk.
IntesTop

As a result of stress caused by transportation and other factors, the development and feed intake of bought-in calves is often significantly lower than that of calves reared at the farm. Consequently, cattle rearing and fattening of heifers and fattening bulls from several origins can become very costly.
The same applies to the rearing of feeders. The housing of animals with different lines of heritage, often combined with long-distance transport, is extremely stressful on the young animals.
Because of reduced feed intake, performance of calves is seriously reduced, which, in turn, leads to low productivity.
Furthermore, a lack of information about the rearing conditions at the farm of origin and a change of feed often lead to difficulties in the following rearing phase.
