Stalosan boosts its efforts in the Balkans and North America
In order to boost its customer and advisory services in these markets to a west European level, the Vilofoss group’s Stalosan team is now gathering its sales reps and consultants from Bulgaria, Greece and the countries of former Yugoslavia at one office: in Sofia, Bulgaria.
This process is based on the rewarding lessons learnt from having a single regional office – opened by Vilofoss in Hungary last year – to serve all of central and eastern Europe.
In North America, the customer and advisory services provided in Canada, the US and Mexico are also being gathered at a single head office in the US. Here, the team is charged with both supporting the development of sales and examining possibilities of introducing other products on the market.
“With one organisation in the US and one in the Balkans, the service and advice provided to our Stalosan Hygiene Solution customers about how to use the world’s best dry disinfectant will now be on a par with our other European markets. In the US, our North American customers will also be given access to our biosecurity concept, which includes a high level of technical consultancy and management,” says Lars Ole Madsen, Sales Manager for Stalosan Hygiene Solution.
Stronger, more closely-knit teams will improve feedback and teamwork and will enable the teams to respond more quickly to address challenges at local farms. Customers will also experience a more efficient logistics process, because the ordering and logistics functions will be optimised and specialised.
The decision is based on lessons learnt and feedback from Vilofoss, which in September 2016 gathered its employees from Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and the Czech Republic in one sales and logistics office in Szeged, located in southern Hungary. All consultancy and sales concerning farm-specific feed compounds and special products for cattle, pigs, poultry and disinfection are provided from this office by an international team of employees.
