Vilofoss and partners break ground on new production plant in Uzbekistan
The new facility is being developed together with the Uzbekistan Poultry Association and Parranda Investment. Once completed, it will manufacture premixes and mineral feeds under the Vilofoss brand. It will also strengthen the local supply of high-quality nutritional solutions and support the continued development of poultry and livestock production in Uzbekistan. Representing Vilofoss at the ceremony were Torben Gosvig Madsen, Director International Business, and Valery Fisiuk, Export Manager Eastern Europe and Middle Asia.
They joined representatives from the partner organizations and local authorities to celebrate the official launch of the joint investment.The project reflects a shared ambition to combine Vilofoss' international expertise with local knowledge and market insight. Together, the partners aim to deliver modern nutritional solutions that contribute to efficient and sustainable animal production. This new partnership also marks another important step in expanding Vilofoss' presence in Central Asia. It is built on strong local partnerships and a shared commitment to long-term collaboration.
Following the ceremony, Vilofoss received a letter of appreciation from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the project partners. The letter expressed gratitude for Vilofoss' commitment, professionalism and the trust it has placed in the joint investment. The partners also described the project as an important milestone in strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Denmark. They highlighted its potential to introduce modern technologies, support the development of poultry and livestock farming, and build lasting partnerships between the two countries.
