The new VILOFOSS® PeckStone fresh poultry is to be placed or hung in the barn as a "changeable" pre-occupation material (in the sense of the QS Animal Welfare Package), laying hens, broilers, geese or turkeys.
High attractiveness through essential oils from Thyme and Eucalyptus. The beneficial effects of Thyme and Eucalyptus on the respiratory and gastrointestinal tract are since ancient time well known. The essential oils are extracted gently from the fresh herbs by use of steam distillation.
Your hens are also looking for a variety of herbs. The effect on the respiratory tract can develop even before the aromas are pecked up together with the minerals.
Coarser limestone grit encourages hens to peck and improves gizzard development.
